Job Brief:

We’re looking for Pulmonologist to help us with our upcoming study. The study will focus on the effects of Pulmonologist on the lungs of patients with asthma. We are looking for Pulmonologist who are interested in helping us with this important research.

Pulmonologist Duties:

  • Assist in directing, managing, and coordinating the activities of the Pulmonology Department
  • Promote and provide comprehensive respiratory care, respiratory therapy services, and diagnostic testing to patients
  • Deploy innovative technology and evidence-based practice
  • Promote program growth and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • Perform administrative duties, including supervision of respiratory technicians and assistants
  • Assist in creating budgets, setting priorities, and managing finances
  • Develop and maintain a positive environment

Pulmonologist Responsibilities:

  • Master’s degree in pulmonary medicine or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in pulmonary medicine
  • Strong knowledge of pulmonary physiology and pathophysiology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of PACS and EMR systems

Requirements And Skills:

  • Practice a focused form of pulmonary medicine, diagnosing and treating diseases of the respiratory system, including asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, and pneumonia
  • Perform pulmonary function tests, administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid, interpret pulmonary function tests, perform pulmonary angiography and evaluate heart function
  • Perform bronchial artery catheterization
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for pulmonary problems
  • Prevent and treat congenital and acquired heart disease
  • Supervise volunteers and students
  • Evaluate patients’ response to treatment
  • Provide leadership and direction
