A QA technician, also known as a quality assurance tester, makes sure that applications adhere to user requirements and expectations.

A QA tester is responsible for performing a variety of testing tasks, including functional testing, system testing, regression testing, acceptance testing, and deployment testing.

A QA tester uses test tools, such as test automation software, to test an application’s functionality, performance, and usability.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a QA Technician who is detail-oriented and has experience with various testing methods. The ideal candidate will be able to create and execute both manual and automated test cases, as well as document and track defects.

QA Technician Duties:

  • Perform engineering systems and software testing procedures
  • Maintain analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality assurance standards and software
  • Work closely with team members and managers to ensure timely completion of projects and adhere to quality standards

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Control
  • Knowledge of testing, inspection, and metrology process
  • Knowledge of circuit board testing procedures and methods
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
