Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist Job Description

A QA Specialist is an individual who uses various QA tools, standards, and processes to ensure the quality of software, systems, and networks.

Generally, a QA Specialist works in the testing phase of software development.

A QA Specialist’s duties include testing new or modified software, using test procedures and methods, executing test cases, and documenting the test results.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist who can help us improve the quality of our products. As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for testing our products and identifying any areas that need improvement. You will also be required to create and maintain documentation relating to quality assurance procedures. Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist Duties:

• Perform QA inspections of weekly sample shipments
• Observe and document the quality of finished products
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors to resolve quality issues
• Order and test materials, and ensure that proper documentation is available
• Maintain accurate records of test results and shipments
• Provide feedback on product modifications and process changes
• Participate in internal meetings
• Act as a liaison between management, QA, and other staff members

Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist Responsibilities:

• Perform product testing, inspections, and audits, and provide quality control and assurance during manufacturing and construction
• Develop and revise QA procedures, conduct orientation for new team members
• Work with contractors and suppliers to develop, maintain, and audit quality assurance programs
• Maintain comprehensive record of quality performance, including investigating complaints and product recall plans

Requirements And Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years’ related experience
• Knowledge of QA processes
• Ability to analyze manufacturing processes and products
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of QA procedures
• Ability to prioritize and organize projects
