Job Brief:
We’re looking for a Radiology Technician who is able to provide excellent patient care while performing a variety of radiographic procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Radiology Technician Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a medical facility under the direction of a physician
- Performs radiologic imaging procedures, such as general radiology, mammography, mammography, sonography, and CT scanning
- Assists physicians in the administration of anesthesia and placement of patients for imaging procedures
- Builds rapport with patients
- Assists patients in preparing for procedures
- Clarifies patient instructions prior to procedures
- Preparing and completing patient records and documentation
- Communicates clearly and concisely with patients, physicians, and other medical personnel
- Follows all safety protocols and procedures
- Communicates effectively and professionally with all personnel
Radiology Technician Responsibilities:
- Associate’s degree or relevant on-the-job training required (California Board of Registered Nursing approval)
- Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong grasp of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to remain calm and work with patients of all ages
- Ability to work during extended patient hours

- Perform patient assessments for diagnostic imaging purposes
- Perform technical procedures with knowledge of current image acquisition techniques and equipment
- Promote safety by providing appropriate safety training to staff
- Maintain records of patient histories
