We’re looking for a Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of real estate transactions, from contract drafting to title and escrow work. Real Estate Paralegal Duties:
- Assist with real estate transactions and closings
- Research property information, including title, surveys, zoning, lease, closing and property/ownership boundaries
- Prepare documents for closing including deeds, mortgages, purchase agreements
- Research tax assessments
- Prepare closing packages for recording
- Conduct title searches
- Assist with estate planning
- Research and prepare deeds, leases, and other documents

Real Estate Paralegal Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file real estate closing documents, including deeds, powers of attorney, leases, plats, easement agreements, foreclosures, and assignments
- Prepare title examinations for purchase and refinance transactions, refinances of existing loans, and cash-out refinances, and update title and survey database
- Prepare title commitments, estimates, and appraisals for lenders and borrowers
- Review title surveys and assure compliance with statutes and regulations
- Visit construction sites and record lien waivers for contractors, lenders, and vendors
- Certify that construction is complete and record deeds and closing statements
- Prepare deeds, refinance documents, and affidavits of heirship
- Process closing documents for government mortgage programs
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies
- 4+ years of legal experience
- Experience working in real estate transaction
- Proven ability to handle projects independently
- Knowledge of real estate and property law
