Job Brief:
We’re looking for a Scrum Master to help our team with our Agile process. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Scrum and be able to help our team improve our delivery process.
Scrum Master Duties:
- Oversee all day-to-day activities of the Scrum team.
- Provide ScrumMaster training to the team
- Provide insight and direction to the ScrumMasters
- Provide guidance and feedback to others
- Provide direction, coordination, and facilitation
- Act as the project’s ScrumMaster
- Act as an advocate for the team
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and running of product backlog, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective, and user story card grooming meetings
- Provide training to team members
- Ensure that all Scrum and agile best practices are followed, and team works according to Scrum Guide
- Ensure that scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective, are documented and results shared
- Perform team composition and sizing analyses
- Work with product owner, product manager, development team, and stakeholders to develop product roadmap and backlog
- Track product backlog metrics and report product backlog size, velocity, and burndown rate and improvement to product owner
- Assist with communication with internal and external business stakeholders
- Solid understanding of Scrum, agile methodologies, and product development best practices
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
- Basic understanding of software development principles and processes
Requirements And Skills:
- 2+ years experience in Agile projects, preferably in project management
- Experience in Scrum, Kanban, XP, or DSDM
- Knowledge of software development methodologies
- Forward-thinking attitude, with ability to quickly adapt to changing environments
- Ability to read, write, and speak
