Job Brief:
We’re looking for a Statistician to help us analyze data and make informed decisions. The right candidate will have experience working with large data sets, be able to identify trends and patterns, and be able to communicate their findings in a clear and concise manner. Statistician Duties:
- Design and implement quality control and assurance protocols
- Maintain and update customer and employee databases
- Use data to identify growth opportunities
- Work with sales teams and customers to gather and analyze data from processes, programs, and customer interactions
- Provide feedback on industry standards and trends
- Provide guidance on determining appropriate metrics
Statistician Responsibilities:
- Perform statistical analyses of client data, and develop reports, graphs, and tables based on those analyses
- Research and source data from multiple internal and external sources and analyze the resulting data for trends and exceptions
- Work independently and on team with other analysts and specialists
- Design and write reports, including executive summaries, executive presentations, and PowerPoint decks, and explain analyses to management
- Deliver presentations to executives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: statistics, mathematics, or engineering
- 5+ years’ proven experience using statistical software
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of statistical software (Microsoft Excel, SAS, R, etc…)
