Student Assistant Duties:
- Assist with the development of all educational, informational, and promotional materials
- Assist with the management of community relations
- Assist with the management of volunteer management
- Assist with the management of events
- Provide administrative support to managers, directors, and executives
- Assist with pre-event preparation and event execution
- Assist with development of public and media relations
- Contribute to the development of a coalition with other nonprofit organizations

Student Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily operations, including greeting customers, stocking shelves and replenishing inventory, and cleaning and stocking restrooms
- Collect payments, complete returns, and verify merchandise purchases
- Assist with administrative duties, including answering the telephone, filing, and data entry
- Assist with inventory control, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Assist with event coordination, including setting up tables and chairs, assembling literature, and assisting with cleanup
- Assist with hiring, training, and development
Requirements And Skills:
- High school diploma or GED; some college preferred
- Knowledge of basic computer functions and Excel
- Ability to be a team player
- Ability to work with a wide range of people
- Ability to be flexible, working well under pressure and deadlines
