System Security Engineer Duties:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure information systems
• Develop and implement system security plans
• Develop, test, and apply security technologies
• Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate security policies
• Manage information security programs
• Review, test, and analyze systems, applications, communication networks, and implementation plans
• Manage security and risk in operations
• Review security processes, policies, procedures, and practices
• Review and evaluate security-related issues, such as monitoring systems, controls, and procedures

System Security Engineer Responsibilities:

• Research and develop security solutions using a variety of technologies, and deliver technical solutions to customers
• Maintain and improve system security, including data backups, passwords, and firewall rules
