Job Brief:
We’re looking for a Unit Clerk to join our team. The Unit Clerk will be responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work well under pressure. Unit Clerk Duties:
- Maintain accurate, efficient, and effective records of all patient care information
- Maintain patient records by updating forms, creating charts, and entering information into computer system
- Maintain inventory control including updating stock levels
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Unit Clerk Responsibilities:
- 2 years’ experience working with medical units
- Ability to tender items clearly and accurately
- Ability to stock and maintain the unit’s supply inventory
- Ability to organize and maintain the unit inventory and paperwork
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Actively seeks out opportunities for improvement

Requirements And Skills:
- Provide 24/7 administrative support, from scheduling meetings and conference calls, to managing expense reports, to handling travel arrangements
- Manage customer and guest service requests, process guest check-ins, work orders, and room keys
- Research and process expense reports in a timely manner
- Coordinate and handle all incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with daily administrative operations
- Maintain detailed administrative records and logs
- Customize and maintain departmental databases
- Assist with physical inventories of office equipment and supplies
