Visual Designer Duties:
- Create designs and layouts for print and web-based marketing materials
- Work closely with copywriters, marketing professionals, and other relevant team members to create compelling visual design concepts
- Communicate design strategies and concepts to clients, managers, and team members
- Collaborate with IT specialists and other members of the creative teams to develop visual elements for websites, apps, ads, and interactive work
- Generate layouts and design elements from rough sketches and written briefs
- Work closely with project managers
- Develop new and innovative design solutions for clients
Visual Designer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business development, marketing, and other team members to create a design vision for all deliverables; review designs to ensure adherence to corporate identity, brand standards, and strategic goals
- Develop and manage design concepts in collaboration with other team members; present designs to stakeholders, client, and vendors for review and feedback
- Maintain design systems and processes; train and supervise team
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
- 3+ years professional experience in a graphic design position
- Excellent technical design skills, both print and digital
- Strong visual design abilities
- Ability to translate client, business and user needs into effective design concepts
- Excellent interpersonal skills
