The term “treatments” refers to the application or finish applied to the window.

Treatments can be either functional or ornamental.

Functional treatments include window coverings such as blinds, shades, curtains, and draperies.

Functional treatments also are insulation materials that include a liner and thermal or acoustic insulation.

Ornamental treatments are decorative elements attached to the window.

The most common ornamental treatments are window grilles, shutters, and blinds.

Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Window Treatment Installer to come and help us with our windows. We need someone who is experienced and can help us choose the right window treatments for our home.

Window Treatment Installer Duties:

• Install window coverings, blinds and shades
• Measure windows to determine proper size, trim and for installation
• Assist with installations
• Read and follow blueprints
• Completes job assignments according to company standards and plans
• Meet company objectives, including service, productivity, quality, safety and cost
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Window Treatment Installer Responsibilities:

• Instruct and train installation technicians to ensure accuracy, completeness, quality, and competency in installation techniques
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and orienting new team members
• Supervise daily assignments, job performance, and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to improve installation skills, performance, and customer satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

• 2+ years’ window treatment installation experience
• Strong work ethic with reliable attendance
• Highly qualified in measuring, installing, and removing window shades, blinds, and curtains
• Knowledge of industry tools such as power tools and measuring tape
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
