Early Childhood Educator Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans and objectives for preschool and kindergarten levels
- Provide individualized attention for each child
- Manage and oversee all students
- Evaluate students’ progress and development
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Assist parents with child’s progress
Early Childhood Educator Responsibilities:
- Provide developmentally appropriate care, education, and therapeutic services to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
- Develop and implement lesson plans, and collaborate with other staff to plan and implement appropriate therapeutic activities, including behavior management and play activities
- Oversee physical and behavioral health issues while implementing behavior plans
- Respond to and resolve parent, teacher, and administrator concerns
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing classrooms and play area
- Assist with planning and implementing field trips
- Answer phones and greet children and parents
- Assist with preparing for and participating in meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education
- Previous experience teaching 3-5 year olds
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to lesson plan and manage classroom activities
- Ability to build relationships with children, parents, and fellow
