Job Brief:

We’re looking for a Fast Food Cashier to work at our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast food environment and will be able to work quickly and efficiently.

Fast Food Cashier Duties:

• Answer customers’ questions, handle customer complaints, and process payments
• Gain customers’ trust and business through quality service and customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and supplies
• Advise customers on menu items, daily specials, and payment options

Fast Food Cashier Responsibilities:

• Contribute to a positive customer experience by applying company standards and procedures, including applicable coupon and promotion policies
• Perform cashier functions, including opening/closing registers, cash handling, and customer service
• Provide accurate change to customers and process transactions
• Follow cash control procedures, including counting and reconciling cash drawers at the end of shift
• Follow safety procedures, AP/AR procedures, and SOPs
• Assist in inventory control
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements And Skills:

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
