Gestalt Therapist Job Description
gestalt therapist job description includes a detailed overview of the key requirements, duties, responsibilities, and skills for this role.
Gestalt Therapist Job Description
The gestalt viewpoint is based on Otto Rank’s idea that the whole is more than the sum of its parts.
According to this viewpoint, people perceive things as a whole, not as separate parts.
For example, if you draw the parts of an apple together, you perceive the apple as a whole.
If you draw the cut parts of the apple separately, you don’t perceive the apple as a whole.
Gestalt therapists believe that this viewpoint applies not only to the world and the physical world, but also to our world of thoughts.
The mind perceives information as a whole, not as a collection of separate thoughts.
