Job Brief:
We’re looking for Medical Courier to be a part of our team! The Medical Courier will be responsible for the pick-up and delivery of medical specimens and supplies. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Medical Courier Duties:
- Delivers laboratory specimens, medications, and other medical specimens to and from various medical facilities
- Delivers mail, packages, and other mail items to and from customer’s place of business
- Receives and distributes incoming mail
- Receives and distributes outgoing mail
- Maintains accurate records of deliveries and receipts
- Makes necessary connections with other carriers to ensure timely delivery of mail
- Provide assistance to mailroom staff as necessary
- Reports all accidents or incidents immediately
Medical Courier Responsibilities:
- Provide medical courier services to medical facilities, physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare clients
- Pick up and deliver medical samples, documents, and equipment to medical facilities and laboratories
- Ensure the pick-up and delivery of medical samples is handled securely
- Meet and maintain service levels, including on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and pickup accuracy
- Complete all client and facility/laboratory related paperwork
- Maintain client records and file documents safely
- Keep accurate time logs, including customer and trip information, dispatched from and returned to all clients
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements And Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Powerchair experience
- Proven dedication to delivering the highest quality of customer service
- Ability to pick up and deliver medical supplies using a wheelchair
