Sonographer Duties:
- Perform ultrasound exams and interpret ultrasound images
- Prepare and submit reports to physicians and other clinicians
- Establish, implement, and maintain appropriate quality system policies and procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Sonographer Responsibilities:
- $50,000-$60,000/year base salary with bonus
- No experience necessary
Requirements And Skills:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams on a variety of patients
- Advise patients on exam results and follow-up care, including prescription of medications and referrals to specialists
- Follow protocols for procedures such as gowning and positioning of patients
- Record medical data and perform computations
- Maintain and update medical records
- Attend team meetings, educational activities, and in-service training
- Perform other duties as assigned
