Training Supervisor Duties:
- Train employees on current HR policies, procedures, and practices
- Design, develop, implement and maintain employee training programs
- Develop training schedules
- Evaluate employee training effectiveness and modify programs accordingly
- Coordinate with supervisory staff to develop employee training programs
- Develop performance plans, monitor employee performance, provide feedback to employees
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for new employees
- Plan and coordinate all training events
- Ensure all training records are filed according to proper file management systems
- Contact employees to schedule training, follow-up, and complete evaluations
- Oversee employees’ use of training resources
Training Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update SOW and pre-construction documents, and monitor contract obligations with a goal of building relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
- Assist in training new team members and employees in company values and procedures
- Manage the on-boarding process, including orienting new hires, providing on-the-job training, and assigning projects; assess employee performance, provide career development plans, and implement disciplinary measures as appropriate
- Conduct pre – and post-evaluations of employees and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain inventory and administration of required safety training
- Communicate with team members, contractors, and suppliers to deliver excellent customer service
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, or related field
- 3+ years experience in training supervisor or manager role
- Experience with training new employees
- Knowledge of training principles, practices, concepts, and methods
- Knowledge of training techniques and materials
